It could sound a silly or curious question. I recently fall in the need for an equalizer to introduce into my hi-end system for stereo listening. Actually looking at a Rane PEQ 55 equalizer but stucked with the dilemma.......
This seems a easy to use eq compared to many others but..... it accept Analog in and produce analog out which means it uses AD/DA converter internally. As I will have converted the CD sound into my DAC, it looks horrible to do another double conversion. Before skipping this equalizer I am reflecting and need help to understand......maybe the signal is converted many many times in studios and we audiophiles are still stucked to one conversion proceess is already too much.
Am I a stupid or what do you advise me?
Shall I close my eyes and introduce this eq in my pseudo audiophile system?PS.: Pls don't say why do you use a EQ, this is another matter. You ask and i reply by private e-mail
Thanks
