Help with mixer choices

Hello folks, new to the asylum and need help choosing a mixer.

I have no prior experience with mixers so hopefully someone here can help out. I have narrowed down the features I want but my question relates to sound quality. The mixer will be used as a pre-amp in critical listening with various signal sources, CD, phono(with RIAA pre), tape, etc. I would also like to use it for home studio/small band apps.

My system is as follows,

Altec 828 cabs loaded with 515-8G mid drivers.
Altec 902-8A comp. drivers on 511B horns.
JBL 2245H subs.

Tri amped with Altec 9442A/SA on highs, Altec 9444B/SA on mids and Altec 9446A on lows.

Signal path downstream of the mixer is Rane GE30 and RaneAC22B on each channel.

I am considering the Allen & Heath MixWizard 14:4:2, the Soundcraft Spirit FX16 or the Mackie 1604-VLZ pro. These all have roughly the same features on them. But back to my question, which board has the cleanest, richest sound? Great sound performance is my first priority.

Thanks for any input you can give.
