problem with Bose AM - 15 - Rama

problem with Bose AM - 15

I have SONY STR-DE 945 with AM-15
When I set treble to 1KHZ Sound is OK !
But When I change it to 10Khz, I am not even getting the treble which I am getting at 1KHZ.
Placement Speaker were good...
Is there any othe setting I need to set?
Connecting speakers directly to Recevier not thru Acoustimass module will help?
Or Do I need to change bose delivered cable with Monster cable?
