Least colored/best sounding DJ MIXER brands??

Im looking for a relatively simple unit that detracts as little as possible from the sound...brand recommendations?

I know Rane is good but too expensive for me now.

How about Vestax? Behringer? Pioneer model 300 is nice but has s/n ratio of only 80db....recommendations appreciated!
