Hello,
I have solo album that I have been working on for about a year and a half on my computer. I have been backing up onto cdr's as I go. But my cd writer is having problems right now, and besides, I don't have confidence in the quality of the data transfer onto cdr. I have had alot of data loss in the past.
So my question is, what is the best way for me to back up my files? I am using Cakewalk and Soundforge, etc. I have maybe 14 gigs of audio that I would like to back up. Most of the removable media drives like iomega just don't hold enough data. Although they are not so popular, I am leaning toward tape backup drives. I am just looking for something dependable, that can hold a large amount of data.
Can someone suggest a specific tape drive that would be good for what I'm doing and that still has media available for it? I am also looking for an inexpensive drive.I appreciate your help,
Brandon
