Transfering open reel to digital

Pro studio recording equipment and music production/industry.

I'm looking for some advice on what is the best method to transfer my reels to either cd or dvd-a format I'm looking for the shortest and the cleanest signal path as possible, I'm going to use either my Nagra or a Stellavox decks and I want to use my laptop which is a HP ZD-7000 this means I can use batteries for most of the power, also what software would be good, with the least interfernce on the data and is the most accurate.
