I have owned the Neumann KM 184's and thought they were very nice, especially for the price. It was my understanding that the KM 184 and the KM 140 were basically the same, except that the 140 series allowed one to change capsules and/or run the caps with the active cables. Aren't the specs for the 184 and 140 cardiod capsules the same?
