I was just about to give up on all the asylum here.
You are totally correct. BUT
It is not RMS I am running.
Driving the mid range and tribble in a speaker I do not need the power, but I need the Volts 200 Volt in 1/10000 of a second is no power.
The first milli second when one hits a bell with a hammer.
At this time, I have made it my self. Have made a power ristriction in the power part. Just in case.
One could say: But you never have more than 30 k Hz information in sound, so....
The point here is how fast can you make the tweeder react to Very high sonund. The more Volt/sec the better, with no clipping.
