Improper grounding is more than an annoyance- if she should kiss the mic while standing barefoot on a concrete floor a serious shock could ensue. Toss in some water and you may be looking for a new singer. Log on to www.rane.com, go to ranenote 185 'Grounding and Shielding Audio Devices'.
