Install beats musicians 900 fold in sales.TOA is about installs and not musicians...as a corporate entity. My Post was made based on stock porfolio and not from a musicians base.
Paso outsells Peavey 15 to 1 on installs. Installs are much larger than PA or musicians will ever be or even consumer or high end. It is the backbone of this industry and this is where the real money is made. Speaking of bose, less than 20% of their sales are to consumers. More than 60 percent are installs and this is not factoring their multi hundred million biz in factory car audio.
It is not about just musicians and consumer audio or pro..it is mostly the install market that keeps these businesses together. Far outweighing the tiny niche markets. Think STOCK MARKET...this is what really matters to these companys, huge volume and I am heavily invested in those centered around installations. Grocery stores, resorts, hotels, malls amusement parks. They replace on 5 year contracts.
Well, I work with the numbers daily and see them. More item count, more profit, much larger margins, and LABOR as well.
One MUZAK francise can sell 20 million gross in one company of those mentioned..per year and look how many fransices. We are talking McDonalds and all.Want to invest, that is the reason they are solid, sales are huge numbers. 8 digits most of those companys if not 9 for a rare few.
