All good ideas I suppose, but don't confuse production editing with just wanting to splice in some leader.As I recall, 2" blocks had something like 60°, 75° and 82.5° angles. Multitrack tapes weren't ordinarily edited for arranging purposes, just for splicing in leader.
Editing for arrangement was usually done on a 1/4" half-track machine.
