Are you certain that the manual does not contain instructions on how to go about moving such tracks from one playlist to another? If you have the lastest software installed (version 2.15?) there were some improvements in areas such as this.

I believe that there is a routine where an "audio file" can be moved into a playlist by following a routine contained in the new instructions (see www.alesis.com and pull up the .pdf of the manual)

Worst case scenario, you can transfer existing tracks from separate CDs to a new playlist on the machine, so if all else fails, try doing that by burning separate cds, though this is an extra step.

Also, on the Alesis site, you can ask questions like this and they respond very quickly to them.
