Using Dome Tweeter with Horn.

I was wondering what effect using a high quality dome tweeter, mounted to a large horn, would have. I want to use a pair of Vifa MG27TG39-04's in 2 way P.A. cabs ( I will use these for small acoustic gigs). I could either mount them on the cab's baffle, or make an opening for a 15"x8" horn, and mount the tweeter to the horn. I'm assuming the tweeter's db output would go up with the horn, but don't know what effect it would have on sound quality and directivity. My desire to use these tweeters is based on the fact that I have them as extras, and plan to cross them at 1900hz, my woofer's optimum upper crossover frequency( who's sensitivity is 92db).
