It is actually very rare that you will find a benefit from stereo in a small club. Much of the stereo sound comes from the actual stage volume. Therefore i vote for #3. I believe the crest will have no problems driving a 4 ohm load and the power should be enough for the system in a small club. I would look at my upgrade path as follows:
Get an EQ! you need one for mains and one for monitors. This will make all the difference, no feedback, cleaner, clearer,Next, did I mention get an EQ.
Following that, you will know whether its time to get new mains or another amp (larger) to power the mains, and use the current amp for monitors. It would be nice to setup two mixes for the monitors-no?
