Electro- I've found that some big companies, like JBL and EV, are happy to share info about discontinued products, like your Venue project. I know that JBL has some online info about that particular box if you go to "Search" and then "Venue vintage". Giving them a call doesn't hurt, either! Phase plug design seems to be horn-plus-driver specific: HMF dispersion and extension by forcing all frequencies to follow the same pathway leaving the horn (prevents beaming); adjust a straight-sided horn to an exponential flare; allow the designer to "get away" with a shorter midbass horn. As a result, the backside of the plug varies with design goals. Some are flat, some curved, some have a dustcap indentation. Can't help you there! Good Luck! -MB
