Where to get appraisals for insurance?

OK. I need to get a certified appraisal for some of my SR gear for insurance purposes. Every appraiser I call goes stone dead when I say it's for pro audio equipment.

Any advice on where to go/who to call for appraisals in the Colorado Springs area? If I have to go national in my search, where should I start?
