Re: Amplifier Selection Advice

I have always been a fan of the Hafler amps in this PA category. I would listen to all before I bought. We have QSC's in our new sanctuary install ($100K+) that I do not really care for running through JBL's. Unfortunately we do not have enough audiophiles who control the sound committees at chruches. We have had sound problems since opening day. I am tryhing to help address them now, but fifedoms have been created and power is not easy to have people give up.

I would also look at Bryston and realize that a 20 year warranty is worth something. I think even at their price they are a great value. The sound is so good you could use it in your home system when not using it as a pa amp. The sound is about as good as it gets...unless you can consider $20K - $36K for a Halcro. That is a lottery I would love to win.
