I'm a big Crown fan.
Yes, I've compared the XS to K1, Macro, Micro.
Unless you driving a huge array of subwoofers, you will not see a difference in any of these amps, except your back thanking you because you're only lifiting 1/3 of the weight, and the AC recepticle on the wall is now able to push more power to yer speakers. The XS series takes 1/2 the wall current to play as a Macro.For monitors, look at the JBL MP412 or even the MP212.
I'll take an MP212 over a JRX box anyday.
