Well Bob, I don't know how you define it but in my experience in the pro sound arena. I know what I hear when I've upgraded various electronics with faster chips and I hear cleaner audio and I recently upgraded an old Broadcast Electronics 8S250 with new opamps and I hear cleaner audio. and improved frequency response.
