as replacements parts. But the case design of a mic is just as important as the element. It has to be rubber suspended in a shock mount or you will get intolerable handling noise. Certain types of shielded cable will also produce noise when moved or twisted. What you're trying to achieve is better achieved by electronic processing. Or buy the Shure bullet mic. Don't try to build a mic yourself unless, you're an audio engineer. Start with a good mic with flat response and subtract with a equalizer. GRH
