I'm a Crown man, always have been after working with the Marcotech and one of their older models in action for live shows and clubs. At the time I decided on Crown for their history and haven't been disappointed. I would be guessing by stating that Bryston amps would be better for montoring and the Carver Pro line would be less than the Crown Reference. I haven't heard Hafler, Bryston or the newer Carver digital amps.Let your ears be the judge.
