I thought I posted a reply, but I don't see it...here goes.Rap on the unit, disconnected from inputs with a rubber mallet. See if the hum comes and goes. make sure it is not your front end. Sounds like a bad joint, in the ground scheme of the amp, or front end noise.
Our friend Victor says: 90% of all noise comes from the cables. Check them out really good.
