I did post this question at Speaker asylum but got no reply so far. Excuse my double posting. My horn speakers are Siverdale by Galantes (width;16", hight;37", depth; bottom;18', top;9") but their black color does not match with my room furnishing (light oak color). So my question is whether covering the entire cabinet with 1 or 2mm veneer (or somthing like that) would change the speakers' sonic charactor or not. Is not it true that the thicker a cabinet the better its sound?
If applying thin wood to my speakers is okey, what kind of glue you would like to recommend?
Thanks in advance. samm
