Hi:This concerns my wife's keyboard and her active monitors. The keyboard outputs are unbalanced, with a choice between RCAs or 1/4 jacks. Her Alesis active monitors offers both balanced (KLR) and unbalance (1/4 jack) inputs. I have been charged with the task of building a set of cables for her.
I would like to use the XLR input on the monitors (for its sturdiness). Is this possible? If it is, would the -ve from the RCA go to the cold or the ground prong of the XLR socket?
Thanks in advance!
