EV = strip club speakers?

I've been to a few strip clubs in the past few weeks and have noticed that an aweful lot of the strip clubs use EV speakers. I wonder why this is? For example tonite the club used a complete Evid/ SX250 + sub setup. Sounded really good. The other night the club used a Sx200 based system.
