I am saving up for a truly good sounding home recording setup, but want to have something I can use in the meantime which will yeald acceptable results. What is the consensus on the SoundBlaster cards of late? Do they have enough muscle to do the job? I plan on using Cubase/Cool Edit/Acid Pro/Sound Forge for editing.
Many thanks,
Dennis
