excellent choice. one of LA's top gear tech's recommends the Delta as the best board for "hot-rodding" into a world-class location recording board. When in stock condition they are very nice; you would have to spend MUCH more to do any better. And they are very easy to improve through some not too difficult modifications. They are also one of the very last moderately priced mixers that is still build out of modular channel strips (like a real pro desk). The sound is reasonably clean when stock and capable of being made truly transparent with some work by a good tech. Unless you can afford to spend $6k or $7k for a Crane Song Spider (or more for a Manley or Millennia mixer) the Delta is your best choice (IMHO)
