While you certainly have the right to say what you wish on this forum you don't seem to grasp its intent. The original poster is obviously not someone who does this for a living, looking for advice from someone who does. If you wanted to be constructive you could have told the poster of your own preferences. All you could do was denegrate both him and his question. You claim to be a pro. Being a professional entails more than having a certain amount of knowledge and experience. It also involves having a bit of class. In your case is the best one could say is that two out of three ain't bad? I can well understand why you are a self described pissed-off pro. With an attitude such as yours I can't see anyone hiring you for a second gig.
To the original poster- the Behringer and DBX both give good value for the money, but the Behringer lacks some of the DBX features. I'd head down to a music store that sells both and talk to a salesperson who has experience with them- you'll find that there a lots of guys who sell gear by day and use it at night. See what they like, maybe even have a chance to see a band that uses them.
