On comp/lim sidechain, come out of side chain out on back of comp into input on EQ then output of EQ to side chain input on on comp give a little boost on freq you want to DeEss. May have a switch on comp/lim to push to use side chain depending on comp.
Also check out Aphex they use to make some good DeEssers.
