I use one on my home (rigged up but sweet-i hate integrated components , you have no flexibility!!!!) stereo ! I like it and feel it is fairly transparrent and built well... It also acts as a Preamp since it has inptu gain and output gains. Is a store selling them for that? I'd like another, i paid 150.00 for mine. It's got nice detented knobs and a good feel too. It would be great in a PA or even a studio app, IMO. Thats my opinion, i'm sure there are others though.
