Use USA gears in Europe - Step down transformer ??

I would like your opinion about the possibility in plugging American gears (i.e. a DAC) to the European electricity (in USA is 110V, 60 Hz while here in Italy is 220 Volts, 50 Hz cycle)
I have a step down transformer named Voltage Valet V 100 that has the following spec:
Input 220/240 Vac 50/60 Hz
Output 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz
Use with electronic devices rated up to 100 watts maximum
Is this a mission impossible or I have high chance that the gear will work perfectly ??
