Honestly, neither. A Pyramid is probably as low as you can go in terms of a power amp. The Pyle is hardly anywhere above it. For less than 2 to 4 times as much money, you can get an amp that's 1,000 times better. When you look at it that way, spending more for a real name-brand amp is about 500 times more cost effective. I'm talking about a low end Crown, Crest, QSC, or BGW amp. Even try a Peavey or Electrovoice amp -- they're decent. I'm very familiar with Pyramid and Pyle, and they're best used for charging an electric fence -- not reproducing music. I don't mean to be so negative about your two suggestions, but as an audio enthusiast friend I am doing you a huge favor in advance by warning you of those brands. By your description, you sound like you're wanting an amp that can pound hard, reproduce music cleanly while pounding hard, go all night long with any type of music, and not fault or melt down. Is that about right? If so, stay way, way away from Pyramid and Pyle. There are other brands I'd suggest that you stay away from too, but I've already listed some good brands you *should* check out.
