Hey all. I'm starting a new group, and we'll be doing real time sampling and sequencing of acoustic instruments with a computer to complement the performance. I've done plenty of research on what computer interfaces are out there (have a MOTU in the studio, but that's going to stay there), but I'd like to know if anyone has any suggestions on a good, inexpensive, durable 4in 4out (at least, with MIDI preferrably) interface. The Aardvark DirectPro 24/96 would be a good match, especially with the onboard DSP functionality and preamps, but so far that's the only unit I've found in a reasonable price range (ebay: $350-400?). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all.
