What seem to be emerging as one of the best soundcards on the market is the RME Hammerfall. Its an ASIO card, so I'm not sure if it will work with Vegas, but it has wordclock, and the in/outs are Adat lightpipes. They then sell a range of very high quality AD DA converters. These offer SPIDF in out's and Adat in outs and tdif as well as analogue in/outs. The cards start from about £230 and the AD/DA converters are about £800 upwards. Not dirt cheap, but for a professional product they are definitely not expensive, and outperform units costing 4 times their price. (Better sound to my ears than Pro-Tools) lol.Regards
