What is the most important criterion for an amplifier to determine
good bass slam. Is it a beefy power supply? A high damping factor?
Lots of capacitance? My subs use 18" Beymas in large reflex cabinets (home HI FI)
and I'm currently driving them with a spare McCormack DNA amp,
which sounds good, but I think maybe I could do better.
Any suggestions? Consumer oriented subwoofer amps I have seen
are all garbage.
