Reverb found

This is from an email I wrote to a fellow with the same problem:

I have resolved the reverb issue. Anyway, for the schematic, still no dice.

We found a reverb that will work IF one little mod is made. The problem with getting an original reverb, I found out, is Accutronics never did business with Gibson, according to Accutronics. They were nice enough to tell me that the company that did make Gibson's reverbs was purchased by them some years ago, and absorbed into Accutronics, but no old records exist on what reverb used in what amp.

We found you can use a Parts Express (www.partsexpress.com) #240-752 reverb tank. Now you must do two things to make it work. First, you must flip the reverb over, and solder a wire from the ground of the input terminal to the ground of the output terminal. Keep the wire short, and glue it to the inside of the reverb tank so it does not touch the springs. The reason, on of the wires to the circuit board is not grounded.

Looking at the front of the amp... the wire coming from the right side of the circuit board (the end where the transformer is mounted) plugs into the OUTPUT of the reverb. The wire coming from the left side of the board plugs into the INPUT of the reverb.

Next, look on the circuit board... right behind the reverb pot is an adjusting pot, to adjust the return from the reverb. Turn this all the way counter-clockwise... yes, MINIMUM. Now, still, there is more than enough reverb.
