I would use the 31 band as an insert on the main buss then take my outs from whatever outputs I want. A prefect situation would be a mackie 24.4 which has a mono output with gain control post mix bus. Otherwise, just take an additional left output from something like a 1/4" out, if the speakers are the same, eq shouldnt be tooooo far off.
