Re: More info on Ward-beck ?

I have used ones from an old ward beck tech from canada. I am also helping restore a full console. I only know two modules, the 460 which is a channel strip but with lots of racking I/O options so the eq could be used seperate etc, and the 461 which was used in radio stations and lacks EQ- just preamp.

I would say the sound is very Neve like (I have extensive use of the 1073) but for cheap. I see stereo channel strip racks rebuilt with powersupply racked nicely for $500-650. I hope few people read this so that this price doesnt change because I want to buy more of them- if you know of any 461's out there I want a couple.
Hope that helps
Frost
