I bought a Blue Tube too, but haven't tried it yet.A friend works at Mars music, and he asked the studio guys what they thought about both. They felt the Blue Tube was quieter. THey also said that they have a lot of repairson ART gear.
That's all I know for now. If it seems too loud, you might want to replace the tubes with some new, low noise tubes. Who knows? Maybe you got some noisy tubes, or maybe they were damaged by rough handling somewhere down the line?
