I am toying w/ the idea of seting up a computer-based studio. I am purchasing an awesome computer (dell 1.3gig P4 w/ 256megs of ram). i think i want to run instruments, mics, etc. through a mixer, then run the mixer into the computer, but im not sure. will this work well? if i choose this route, any suggestions for a cheap soundcard with maybe 2ins/2outs? (+midi connections).
