I haven't tried this product out, but I woudl advise the same caution to anyone buying from the Focusrite range. Its been my experience that a lot of the gear they are touting isn't as good sonically as the early Rupert Neve designed stuff. I rate the ISA blue range, but not any of the Red, green or platinum units I have tried. I am told that this is because the circuitry isn't Rupert Neve designed in these products. I had a particulary bad experience with the Red range Mic amp/compressor wich was quite frankly abysmal. Try buying an old re-racked neve eq, these are great and have so much character, plus really usable eq. API's, calrecs and alike are very good also.
