I would go for the Yamaha personally, mainly because Yamaha are touting it as the guts of an 02R in the mixer with a built in hard disc system, the 02R being a good mixer at around £5000 maes this a great deal. There is the added benefit in that Yamaha are by far the most experienced digital console manufacturer and you are buying into well proven technology that works. I have heard good things done withe the Roland workstations, however I personally don't think that they are in the same league as the yamaha. Your choice but thats my honest opinion.Roland
