I just bought one of these units for my recording studio. This recorder is a professional quality piece of gear one definitely worth having (a lot of pro studios have already purchased MX-2424). If you're going to install this in your studio and you don't own a digital console with 24 inputs you'll have to purchase the Digital to analog card option. I would also suggest the DVD RAM drive for archiving your projects with a removeable carrier (so you can also use additional hard drives). The remote is very cool (RC-2424).
