First of all....tell us about it..Tascam? Ampex? Studer? Panasonic?
With that info and the model # we may be able to get you a manual.
It will be not too compicated....just keep the meters out of the red, and use premium tape, make sure you clean and demag the heads daily.
That is if it is analog....Digital is another story..
