...why would you expect someone to do better than FM and sell significantly less??? Why wouldn't FM do it themeselves, for that matter?
Crown (and others) makes nice pro amps for less -- but they're far from better sounding.
Or, get s/one to make you one with matched circuit components.
Last I heard, the FM cost ~6k euro (don;t take my word for this -- better to ask them).
