I plan to experiment with the DMP A8 in many ways as it appears to be extremely flexible. I will use it as a Music Server / Streamer / DAC / Preamp - and possibly individual sections of the A8 as it has what appears to be a software controlled matrix switcher of sorts to route various input sources to various outputs.
My first test will be to see how well in handles Roon as I believe the latest software update makes it officially Roon Ready (certified by Roon Labs).
I have some quality audiophile interconnects and AC power cords but I will likely try it with the stock AC cord first.
