Regardless of internet provider I'm sure you can run a couple Ethernet jumper cables within your own room(s) if needed. Otherwise Wifi should be fine unless your apartment is massively huge.
If cost ins't an issue I would have the facility or internet provider set you up. You would have to work with them anyway to get your own equipment 'provisioned' and authorized onto their service.
