This whole discussion reminds me of why I run hardwired Ethernet. 99% of the time it either works or it doesn't. There's rarely any of this in-between guessing as to what the WiFi problem might be. Fewer variables to go wrong. Fewer variables to trouble shoot. But I acknowledge that not everyone can run hardwired Ethernet.
