RE: Deleting files from Aurender N200 internal drive?

Thanks for the reply. The adapter looks well made - I'll pick up a couple.

To answer your question, most Aurender's can't delete internal files without using a computer. The N200 has a special audio filtered USB A out and two standard USB A. I use a portable external HDD into one of the the standard USB A to add music to the internal SSD.

To delete files from the internal SSD the Aurender has to be mounted to the laptop. Apparently this can't be done by USB. Have to use Run on Windows to connect wirelessly. Aurender calls this a shared file.

I finally got the password, name and everything else input to delete the file. At first, I didn't think it worked because the double album was still showing in the Aurender library. About 3 minutes later the library auto updated and the file was gone. Whew, I'm no computer guru. Aurender has been very non computer like until this. I will listen to albums carefully before moving them to the the internal SSD in the future.

Thanks for the help,
barondla
