?? Use a better mp3 decoder before burning CD ??

I've got some nice 320 kps mp3s that I want to burn onto a regular (redbook) CD. My Roxio creator v.6 can handle burning mp3s as waves just fine. But my question is: Will I get better waves using a certain mp3>wave decoder first, or is there no diff? Thanks!!
